Crossed Paths

The movie "Crossed Paths" starts in Lagos traffic. Zara’s car breaks down and she is late for a big client meeting. She has no choice but to take a crowded danfo bus. The bus is noisy and uncomfortable. A woman accuses a man wrongly. The conductor shouts for fares. When Zara gets down, she finds her bag missing. It contains her laptop and important flash drive. She thinks her job is ruined. Later she tells her friend Miriam. But Daniel, the bus conductor, had seen the thief. He jumped off the bus, chased the thief through the market and returned her bag safely. Zara is very grateful. She goes back to the danfo park, waits for Daniel and gives him money as thanks. They introduce themselves and feel attracted to each other. Zara cannot stop thinking about Daniel. She tells Miriam she likes him even though their lives are very different. Miriam encourages her. They go on a simple date at a pepper soup joint. Daniel feels shy but Zara is happy. Daniel confesses his feelings and Zara says she likes him too. They start dating. Zara gets a big promotion to Regional Manager in Abuja. She is worried because it means moving far away. She tells Daniel. He becomes sad and fears she will leave him for a richer man. Zara assures him her love is real. Two years later, Daniel visits Zara’s beautiful house. He has started his own company, "Danny & Zara Logistics", with a branch in Abuja. He shows her his staff cheering on video call. Then he kneels, brings out a ring and proposes. Zara happily accepts and they embrace.
