One of Nigerians top actresses, from Imo State , Mbaise, Aboh, she's well known for her versatility in movies, she studied at the university of Port Harcourt and gained her BA in theater Arts, Rita Dominic is married to Fedelis Anosike, she has won numerous awards in 2012 she won best actress I a leading role at the African movie Academy Awards, Rita Dominic attended Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene, she took a break from acting in the year 2001 after the demise of her mother.

EARLY LIFE

Dominic hails from Aboh in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria. She is the last out of four children. Her father was a medical doctor and her mother, a nursing officer. She attended Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State and proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt for her tertiary education, earning a BA in Theatre Arts in 1999.

CAREER

Dominic started performing as a child, appearing in school plays and children's television shows in Imo State. In 1998, she starred in her first movie, A Time to Kill. She has produced several movies including The Therapist, Light in the Dark, Bound, The Blindspot and Desecration. She has starred in over 100 Nollywood productions. She is well known for her versatility in movies.

PERSONAL LIFE

On 5 April 2022, Dominic announced her engagement to Fidelis Anosike. They held their traditional wedding in Imo State on 19 April 2022, and white wedding in England in November 2022. She took a break from acting in the year 2001 after the demise of her mother.
