Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare

Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare is an accomplished Nigerian author, academic, and communication expert. She is best known for her novel Dazzling Mirage, which addresses the struggles and resilience of a young woman living with sickle cell anemia. Her novel, Dazzling Mirage, was adapted into an acclaimed feature film by legendary filmmaker Tunde Kelani's Mainframe Productions. The screen adaptation won the prestigious Audience Choice Award at the Nollywood Week Paris Film Festival.

Olayinka's passion for writing was first nurtured by her English teacher, Mrs. Ubah, at the Federal Government Girls College, New-Bussa. She resides in Ibadan with her husband, Professor Francis Egbokhare, and their children.
