EARLY LIFE

Kayode Ojuolape Jr., also known as ManlikeKay, was born on November 1, 1995, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria . He is a Yoruba man and a Christian . He grew up in Ibadan, where he completed both his primary and secondary education before moving to Lagos to pursue acting and university studies . He lost his father some years ago, whom he describes as a loving man, and his mother, Mrs. Adeola Abass Ayilara, now lives in London, United Kingdom . He has an older sister named Oyindamola Ojuolape Kolapo-Alonge, who is married with children . Professionally trained, Kayode graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State, in 2020. Prior to that, he began honing his craft in 2014 at the Royal Arts Academy in Lagos .

PERSONAL LIFE

Kayode describes himself as a humbly easygoing and somewhat shy guy when he is not acting . An interesting fact about him is that while he eats all popular Nigerian dishes, he confesses to disliking about 70% of them . Another fun personal claim is that he has never lost a game of Monopoly. He has a tattoo on his chest that reads "hope, pray, believe".

CAREER

Kayode started his professional acting journey in 2014. His screen debut came in 2015 with an Africa Magic original movie titled "Andrew Files". He has since built a diverse portfolio across film and television: Notable Film Roles: He gained wider recognition for his role as Jamiu in Kunle Afolayan's Netflix feature "Ijogbon" (2023). Other film credits include "Leaked" (2022) and "Hearts Over Time" (2024). He played the lead role of Chinedu (nicknamed Onyeegwu) in Uche Jombo's film "Onyeegwu".
