Storyline
Josh was a promising basketball player until a knee injury cut his career short. Now he spends his days on half-hearted rap attempts and whatever get-rich-quick scheme his best friend Kunle brings up. His sister Ronke and her boyfriend Uncle K worry about him, and they believe he still has potential. When Ronke leaves town for three days, Josh is left with Uncle K, who offers encouragement and a chance to help with an upcoming product launch. Kunle tries to pull Josh into a streaming venture, insisting that shouting W's in the chat is the key to wealth, but Josh is not impressed. A job interview goes badly, and Josh feels the failure confirm what he already thinks of himself. Uncle K introduces Josh to Zanele, a confident influencer hired to promote a skincare line. Their first encounter is tense, and Zanele dismisses Josh as jobless. Later that evening they meet at a lounge, where the tension shifts into attraction and they share a kiss. Uncle K catches them and gives Josh a week to make Zanele his girlfriend, or he will tell Ronke. Josh pursues Zanele, but she begins to pull back and insists their intimacy is just sex, that he is moving too fast. Following his sister's advice, Josh decides to find out what Zanele truly wants. When he arrives at her house, a man at the gate insists she has traveled and warns him against her. Heartbroken, Josh collapses in despair and later sits alone on a basketball court. Zanele finds him there and reveals she never left. She had only wanted Josh to find his own way instead of clinging to her as a substitute for his lost career. They reconcile, and Zanele reassures him that he will play basketball again. With her support, Josh steps back onto the court. He plays with renewed energy, and when he dunks the ball, the crowd erupts and chants his old nickname, Mamba. His family and friends cheer him on.
