EARLY LIFE

Jerry Mudiaga Bakpa, professionally known as Jerry Mudi, was born on August 6, 1989, in the United Kingdom. He was raised in northern Nigeria, specifically in Kaduna, and hails from Oghara in Delta State, Nigeria. He is the second son and fourth child in a large family of eleven siblings. He has lived in about seven different states across Nigeria. As a child, he aspired to be a Petrol Chemical Engineer due to the perceived financial prospects of the field. His childhood was described as interesting and cherished, growing up with his siblings.

Jerry Mudiaga is a Nigerian actor known for his work in Nollywood. He moved to Lagos in 2010 specifically to pursue acting and auditioned for the popular soap opera Tinsel. He faced early challenges, including rejections during auditions but persisted through multiple auditions and on-the-job learning. His notable film appearances include, Almost 25 (2025), Love Given (2024), The One Who Stole My Heart (2023), The Thing About Happiness (Parts 1 & 2, 2023), From a Distance (2020).
