Growing up, she faced severe hardships including bullying, assault, and being forced out of her family home as a teenager. She found temporary shelter in a church storeroom, where she endured further abuse and developed lasting fears of darkness and solitude. These experiences shaped her resilience and authenticity. She graduated from Yaba College of Technology (some reports mention the University of Ibadan). She defeated finalists Dede and Koyin and received a grand prize package reported to include ₦80 million cash, a sport utility vehicle, and additional benefits valued up to ₦150 million.
