Biography

EARLY LIFE

Imisi was born on 24 January 2002 in Awe town, Oyo State, Nigeria. She is 23 years old (as of 2025) and of Yoruba descent. Growing up, she faced severe hardships including bullying, assault, and being forced out of her family home as a teenager. She found temporary shelter in a church storeroom, where she endured further abuse and developed lasting fears of darkness and solitude. These experiences shaped her resilience and authenticity. She graduated from Yaba College of Technology (some reports mention the University of Ibadan). Before fame, she worked as a fashion designer creating elegant yet affordable pieces and built a following as a content creator.

PERSONAL LIFE

Imisi is currently single and healing from a past toxic relationship that resulted in the loss of her baby at four months old. She is open about her journey of self-love and mental health. She is a devout Christian with strong ties to the Celestial Church of Christ, which she credits for grounding her values. Her hobbies include singing, cooking, dancing, watching movies, and gaming. She is known for her wit, humor, honesty, emotional maturity, and unfiltered Yoruba pride.

CAREER

Imisi entered Big Brother Naija Season 10 (titled “10/10”) in July 2025 as one of 29 housemates. Despite facing multiple nominations (Weeks 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9) and clashes in the house, she stayed true to herself — vulnerable, humorous, and alliance-building. After 10 weeks, she emerged as the winner with 42.8% of the final votes, becoming the fourth female winner in BBNaija history (after Mercy Eke, Phyna, and Ilebaye). She defeated finalists Dede and Koyin and received a grand prize package reported to include ₦80 million cash, a sport utility vehicle, and additional benefits valued up to ₦150 million. Before BBNaija, she was already established as a fashion designer and content creator. She is also an aspiring actress with natural screen presence and expressive energy. Post-win, she plans to expand her fashion brand nationwide and pursue major Nollywood roles.
