Hearts That Stay

In the movie Hearts That Stay we see the life of Chidi a hardworking mechanic and Ife a local food vendor. They are in deep love but always struggle with money. At work a rich woman Toni brings her Mercedes and Chidi honestly says nothing is wrong with it. She likes his honesty and English and takes his number. In the evening Chidi and Ife eat together in their small room and talk about problems but they say love is all they need. The next day Richie a rich man comes to Ife in his Porsche. He wants her and buys all the food to get her attention. Ife refuses because of Chidi. Toni returns to give Chidi food and offers to build him a shop in rich area. Ife arrives and sees them. She feels bad and tells Chidi it is over. Chidi goes to explain but Ife is jealous and sends him away. Richie takes Ife to see a nice restaurant he will buy for her. She gets very excited. When Richie drops her Chidi sees and they fight. Ife tells Chidi to leave her alone and picks the rich life. Chidi goes home and cries hard. Next day Toni comes and Chidi accepts her offer to start new. Later Ife is in the big restaurant but she is sad inside. She knows she made mistake for money. She looks for Chidi at workshop but he is not there. At night she goes to his house and begs please forgive me I love you. Chidi says I love you too but it is too late the trust is broken after you left for richer man. Ife cries alone when the movie Hearts That Stay ends.
