EARLY LIFE

Growing up, Favour Dike always had a passion for art and acting. She started as a child actor in Lagos but found it challenging to break into the industry.

CAREER

Her fortunes changed when her family moved to Delta State, where she discovered that Nollywood had a base in Asaba. With the help of a friend, she secured a role and began her acting career. Dike is making waves in the entertainment industry with her talent, passion, and determination. She is also a producer, with her production company, Blaq Queen Visuals.

PERSONAL LIFE

She loves cultural roles that preserve and promote Nigerian culture and hopes for collaborations between Nollywood and foreign film industries to showcase African culture. She prepares for roles by studying scripts, doing exercises like gymnastics, meditation, and eurobics, and practicing method acting and mind focusing. She emphasizes listening to directors and fellow actors. Favour faced challenges as a black-skinned actor, with producers often preferring fair-complexioned actors, but she persevered, inspired by Mercy Johnson. She advises aspiring actors to focus on honing their craft over making money and is optimistic about the industry's future.
