Bright Morgan is recognized as a rising Nollywood talent who combined acting with modelling and entrepreneurship before gaining wider national visibility through Big Brother Naija Season 10. EARLY LIFE

Bright Mbata was born on 24 December 1997 in Imo State, southeastern Nigeria, and is of Igbo ethnicity. He has described himself as a “proud Lagos boy” who later relocated to Enugu to pursue acting opportunities. He is a Capricorn and has spoken of growing up with ambition and a strong interest in performance and storytelling. He attended Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, where he earned a National Diploma.

CAREER

Bright Morgan began his professional acting career in early 2024 and quickly became a recognizable face in Nollywood, particularly in romance and drama films. He has worked alongside established actors and actresses, including veteran Patience Ozokwo (a career highlight he has publicly celebrated), as well as others such as Princess Johnson and Vivian Ukwueze. Selected film credits include: Love Unscripted (2024) Mr. & Mrs. Bride & Groom (2024) Unseen Treasure (2024) Love in the Sky A Chance at Love Body & Soul Never Say Goodbye Our Perfect Love Story and additional titles in the romance/drama genre. He is also active as a fashion model and entrepreneur. In July 2025 he entered the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house (themed “10/10”) as one of the male housemates. He described himself as ready for the drama, competitive in tasks and games, and motivated by the opportunity to grow his brand. He was known in the house for a calm, collected demeanor, strategic thinking, empathy, and humour. He was later evicted from the show. Post-BBNaija, he has expressed ambitions to further develop his acting career, explore major streaming platforms, and eventually attend film school abroad with an eye toward international (including Hollywood) opportunities.

PERSONAL LIFE

Bright Morgan has stated that he is single and values healthy relationships built on mutual love, care, and respect. He has described himself as a loving, down-to-earth, open, and honest person who is hard-working and driven. He enjoys fitness/gym activities, cooking, and social events, and has noted that he sometimes laughs in serious moments—a habit he acknowledges can irritate others. He identifies as guided by strong spiritual values.
