Kene's Silence

In the movie "Kene's Silence," Kene is a smart graduate who has been searching for work for three years. His girlfriend Wonu supports him with patience and love. Out of desperation, he accepts a low-paying store job with Adunni, a rich, harsh businesswoman who runs a cargo company. Adunni sees his hard work and begins to show him special care, buying him food and leaving notes. When Adunni gets sick from fibroids, Kene visits her empty mansion to help her heal. Feeling lonely despite her success, Adunni asks Kene to be her secret companion. He gives in to temptation and sleeps with her. Soon after, Wonu tells Kene she is pregnant with his child. Kene tries to end the affair, but Adunni reveals she is also pregnant. She refuses to be hidden and goes to Kene's home. In front of Wonu and her mother, Adunni announces she is carrying Kene's baby. Chaos erupts as Wonu breaks down and her mother fights with Adunni. The betrayal shatters Kene's relationship beyond repair. Later, Kene tries to quit his job, but Adunni coldly refuses his resignation. The movie ends with Kene sitting alone in his car, looking at a photo of a child. He has lost his true love and his peace, trapped by his own bad choices and greed.
