A strange silent phone call plants seeds of doubt in Akachi’s mind, and Emeka’s refusal to take her seriously only fans the flames of their argument. The situation spirals when his mother appears with a younger woman, Chichi, and imposes her as a second wife. Plunged into chaos, the household becomes a battleground where Akachi and Chichi exchange blows and bitter words over dominance and affection. Emeka’s indecisiveness allows the conflict to fester. The situation gets heated when Chichi tells Emeka that he is responsible for th child she's carrying. Akachi becomes heartbroken and cries, lamenting that she would be laughed at. Emeka's mother arrives and Emeka tells his mother that he is not responsible for Chichi's pregnancy and that a DNA test will be conducted to determine the father of the child, Akachi assures Emeka that she believes him stating that he had never lied to her before. Chichi confornts Emeka's friend and tells him that she can't keep up with the lie and that he should take responsibility for the child she's carrying but he refuses saying that he has a fiancee. Emeka's mother asks Chichi if Emeka is responsible for her pregnancy and she says no. Emeka confronts his friend and hits him, angry at his betrayal. Emeka goes home and tells Akachi that Chichi confessed who the real father of the child she's carrying was. Akachi goes into the kitchen and picks up a pestle to confront Chichi. Inside her room, a tearful Chichi regrets her decisions. Akachi firmly reestablishes her role by exiling Chichi from the house, while both agree to support the child Chichi is carrying. Chichi murmurs apologies and her appreciation and is driven away. With Chichi gone and the home quieted, Emeka steps out to meet another woman, handing her a flash drive containing CCTV footage of her partner’s infidelity and counseling her to seek a worthy man.
