Dreaming Of You

In Dreaming Of You interior decorator Maya prepares for an evening out and her boyfriend Temmy grows impatient with her schedule. Their routine shatters when Maya witnesses a hit-and-run accident involving a man named Greg and rushes to his side at the hospital where doctors diagnose a concussion and subsequent amnesia. Greg's best friend Jerry arrives and learns the medical bills have been mysteriously paid and Greg cannot remember his own identity including his girlfriend Rose who appears devoted but triggers Greg's uneasy intuition. Jerry brings Greg home to his art-filled apartment hoping familiar surroundings will jog his memory and Greg experiences vivid flashes of a mysterious woman he calls his Angel and compulsively paints her portrait. Meanwhile Maya balances her demanding career and secures a major hotel renovation contract through client Mr. Dary as Temmy's frustration over her absence grows. Greg's flashes intensify during visits to his studio where he compulsively paints the same woman's portrait. When Maya visits the studio on business Greg recognizes her instantly as the woman from his visions and collapses from the overwhelming flood of returning memories. In the hospital Greg awakens with full recall and reveals to Maya that Rose cheated on him and that Jerry his closest friend orchestrated the betrayal. This revelation prompts Greg to confront Jerry at his studio on the night of the accident. The revelation devastates Maya who calls Temmy to share the news. Greg discharges himself determined to face Rose and Jerry directly in a confrontation that forces all parties to reckon with the deception that nearly cost Greg his life and identity. A month later Greg's artistic career reaches new heights when an international collector purchases his work for one million dollars. The deal is facilitated by Maya's industry connections and Greg shares the news with Maya whose encouragement helped him rebuild his confidence.
