Storyline
In "Don't Judge Me", Henry and Bella are three months into a Lagos marriage. They share playful banter and weekend plans, and when Bella suggests hosting her sister Judith and Judith's husband Lewis to celebrate a pregnancy after seven years of waiting, Henry agrees. The breakfast is warm, with talk of faithfulness through struggle and keeping pain private. After the guests leave, Henry jokes about starting a family. Then he wakes with a sore throat, headache, and stiff joints, and despite Bella's soup, the symptoms persist. At the hospital, a doctor tells Henry he is HIV positive. Henry comes home in shock and tells Bella, who refuses to believe it and demands to know how he caught the virus. He swears he has never been unfaithful, but she accuses him of late nights with prostitutes, and her own test comes back negative. Bella moves into the guest room, labels the fridge, and stops sharing anything with him, and Henry pleads for trust as Judith tries to mediate. Henry turns to Lewis, who advises him to accept whatever Bella decides and to do a follow-up test. Bella confides in Judith, who reveals her own painful diagnosis of endometriosis and how Lewis stood by her. Judith asks Bella if she still loves Henry. Bella apologizes for her cruelty but says she cannot commit to forever with this fear, so she leaves to stay with Judith and Lewis and help Judith before the baby arrives. During her time away, Bella reflects on Henry's devotion and misses him. She returns, cooks him dinner, and tells him she is staying because he is worth it. They reconcile and plan a vow renewal, and Henry reveals that the follow-up test came back negative: the first diagnosis was a lab error. He hid the truth because he did not want her to stay out of guilt. Overjoyed, they renew their vows at home with Judith and Lewis. Henry and Bella exchange heartfelt vows, Lewis officiates, rings are exchanged, and the small gathering toasts to love, happiness, and an everlasting union.
