CAREER

Theodore Anyanji was a respected Nollywood actor, director, and producer. He was a member of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria and contributed to numerous films in various capacities. His work spanned directing, producing, and acting in both feature films and other productions. As a director, he directed Brotherhood (2016), Lost Marriage (2017), Eyes of Darkness (2016), Malaysian Money (2015). As a producer, he produced Throne of Anger (2019), Daughters of Karishika (2019), Wrath of Ugegbe (2019), Pant Ritual (2019). He was also involved in writing/story contributions on projects like Throne of Anger. His films often explored dramatic and cultural themes popular in Nollywood. Anyanji was known for his versatility and commitment to storytelling in the Nigerian film industry. He passed away on November 23, 2019, in Festac, Lagos State, after a period of illness. His body was later taken to Umuaka in Imo State.

Theodore Anyanji maintained a relatively private personal life. He battled health challenges, including heart and kidney-related ailments, for several months before his passing. Reports indicate he had undergone a kidney transplant years earlier. He was remembered fondly by colleagues and fans for his contributions to the industry and his dedication to his craft.
