Biography
EARLY LIFE
Rosemary Oluwabunmi Afuwape was born on May 19, 1984, in Zaria, Kaduna State, to a Yoruba father, Pastor Akin Afuwape, and a Hausa mother, the late Mrs. Racheal Afuwape. The only daughter in a family of five children, she completed her primary and secondary education in Zaria. She later attended Eastern Mediterranean University in Turkey, earning a degree in International Relations and a master's in Marketing Management.
CAREER
Rosie Afuwape began her acting career in 2003 before taking a long hiatus to focus on her education, returning to the screen over a decade later. She gained prominence as the co-winner of the first season of the 'Ultimate Love' reality TV show in 2020. Her multifaceted career includes roles as a presenter, OAP, voice-over artist, and brand influencer. She is also an entrepreneur and the CEO of PhoenixOaks Ltd. and has previously worked as a teacher. During her university years, she won the Miss African Queen pageant.
PERSONAL LIFE
Rosie is a single mother of two sons, Bryan and Jeremy. She was formerly engaged to her 'Ultimate Love' co-winner, Kachi Ucheagwu, but the engagement was called off.
