EARLY LIFE
Prince Buchi Unigwe was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He comes from a highly talented entertainment family; he is the twin brother of acclaimed actress Angel Onyi Unigwe, and also has elder sisters Princess Chizy Unigwe and Chimamanda S. Unigwe, who are also actresses. The Unigwe family resides in Lagos and is deeply rooted in the Nigerian entertainment industry. From a young age, Buchi showed interest in the performing arts, which paved the way for his early entry into modeling and acting.
CAREER
Prince Buchi Unigwe is a Nigerian actor, dancer, and commercial model who has been a visible face in Nollywood since his debut. He began his acting career after featuring in The Therapist in 2015, which marked his entry into the film industry. Since then, he has built an impressive portfolio with roles in numerous Nollywood productions. His notable film credits include Light in the Dark Schemers King of Boys Chief Daddy City of Bastards Alison's Stand Dance with Mama Aburo (2024) Her Dark Past (2024) He has also appeared in popular television series such as My Siblings and I and Skinny Girl in Transit, showcasing his versatility across both film and TV formats .In addition to acting, Buchi established himself early as a successful child commercial model. He has appeared in major TV commercials and billboards for well-known brands including Mr. Chef, Ajinomoto, Golden Morn, King's Oil, Glo, and campaigns against violence. His modeling prowess was formally recognized in 2016 when he won the "Best Super Kid Model" award at the Nigerian Model Achievers Awards (NMAA) More recently, he has taken on roles in high-profile projects such as Monica (2026) and Monica 2 (2026), where he portrays the character Bobo, further cementing his place among Nollywood's rising young talents
