EARLY LIFE

Keith Chuaga is a Kenyan actor with strong ties to Mombasa and earlier experiences in Nyeri. Before entering entertainment, he worked as a matatu conductor (makanga) in Nyeri. Inspired by a magazine feature on model Jude Sande, he travelled to Nairobi, located Sande at his Westlands shop, and shared his story, receiving encouragement that helped launch his modelling career. He has described being among the earlier light-skinned models in Kenya. His mother, whom he has described as a lovely cook and his strongest believer, passed away on 31 December 2018.
