Eucharia Anunobi, born in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, is a veteran Nollywood actress, producer, pastor, evangelist, model, life coach, and social reformer. She holds an OND in Mass Communication from IMT Enugu and a BA in English from UNN Nsukka. Debuting in "Glamour Girls" (1994), she's starred in over 90 films like "Abuja Connection" (2003), winning AMAA Best Actress, and recent works including "The Way We Were" (2024). Ordained in 2012, she's Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi, preaching at a Lagos church and advocating personal growth. Married Charles Ekwu (2000-2006); son Raymond died in 2017 from sickle cell. she shares wisdom on faith and life.

Eucharia Anunobi, born on May 27, 1965, in Owerri, Imo State, Southeast Nigeria. She attended Owerri Girls Secondary School, Institute of Management Technology, Enugu, where she earned a National Diploma in Mass Communication, and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language.

CAREER

Debuting in 'Glamour Girls' (1994), Anunobi rose to fame in the 1990s through her roles in 'Glamour Girls II' (1996). She has starred in over 90 movies, including 'Abuja Connection' and 'Letters to a Stranger'. She is also known for her iconic roles in 'Nneka the Pretty Serpent' (I & II). Her recent works include 'The Way We Were' (2024). She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or TV Series at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards. She won Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (2003) and Nollywood Personality of the Year (2007). She is currently serving as an evangelist at a church in Egbeda, Lagos State, and advocating personal growth.

PERSONAL LIFE

Married Charles Ekwu in 2000, divorced in 2006 after six years of marriage. Her only son, Raymond Ekwu, born in 2002, passed away on August 22, 2017, at the age of 15 due to complications arising from sickle cell anemia. In 2012, she was ordained as a pastor. In 2015, her father Felix died after a brief illness. She shares wisdom on faith and life.
