Ejovwoke Obas

Ejovwoke Obas is a Nigerian actress known for her roles in short films and feature productions. She starred as Ufoma in the short film Naked Woman (2022), directed by Orire Nwani, which explores the trauma of unwanted pregnancy and single parenthood. The film, which also stars Roberta Orioma (who co-wrote it), follows the story of a bitter single mother scared that her daughter will repeat her mistakes. It premiered at the Smithsonian National Museum for African Art in DC, was selected for the African International Film Festival (Afriff), and is streaming on YouTube. The film won Best Director at the New York Tri-State Film Festival. She also appeared as Mrs. Ijebor in the film Grown (2024).
