EARLY LIFE

Charles Inojie hails from a royal family in Urowa, Edo State. He grew up with his grandmother and aspired to be a lawyer but changed his mind after attending Bode Osoyin's Writers Resort. He obtained a certificate in Dramatic Arts in 1993 and graduated from the University of Port Harcourt in 1999.

CAREER

He joined dramatic and theatre clubs, performed stage drama, and became assistant director at Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen's production company after relocating to Lagos. In 2016, he was appointed president of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN). Known for comedic roles, he starred as Lucky Johnson in The Johnsons.
