Biography

EARLY LIFE

Oluwatosin Oludare holds a bachelor's degree in French languages from the University of Ilorin. She had a short stint in radio at Top Radio 90.9 in 2010 as a researcher and co-host. In 2012, she was part of the foundational staff for WAP TV, serving as a researcher, staff writer, event producer, and assistant producer. She also worked as a social media officer with Alder Consulting around 2013 and contributed as a ghostwriter for Ynaija political and an assistant editor for Vibes magazine. She started in TV and film as a production coordinator for The Johnsons in 2014.

CAREER

Oluwatosin Oludare is a TV and Film Producer with over a decade of experience. She produced Seasons 1-4 of 'My Flatmates' and two seasons of 'The Johnsons' for Africa Magic. In 2014, she managed the production of 'Hotel Majestic', a 260-episodic drama series and the first made-in-Nigeria telenovela. Her other credits include producing Season 1 of 'Rumour Has It' for NdaniTV, supervising producer for 'Aso Eegun' (a Multichoice Talent Factory feature film), and project manager for Cowbellpedia 2023. She has also produced films like 'Interstate' (in post-production, scheduled for 2023 release), 'Pink Butterfly' (released on Prime Video in December 2024), 'Dead Tide' (2025), and 'Checkout' (2024). She served as commissioning editor for 'Tinsel' (2017-2025) and 'Wings'. She is also a distribution executive at Talent X, a media-tech company, where she ensures funded projects secure distribution deals.

PERSONAL LIFE

Oluwatosin holds a master’s degree in Marketing & Communications from ESEI Business School, Barcelona, and is an alumna of the New York Film Academy (NYFA), Los Angeles, California. She is fluent in English and French, and understands a little German and Spanish. She believes in being selective about projects to protect her mental health and values a positive process in filmmaking. She also had an entrepreneurial venture, Amid Foods, selling dates syrup, which she put on hold due to challenges in the country and an accident. She is open to exploring more in her career and contributing to the institutionalisation of the Nigerian film industry.
