He began his professional career in 1985 as a broadcaster with the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC), later moving to Ogun State Television (OGTV). His acting debut came in 1986, starting with radio entertainment, followed by stage directing and acting classes. He has directed stage plays, Yoruba films like Pastor Deyinde and Queen Shola, and TV series.
