Abimbola Craig

EARLY LIFE

Abimbola Craig was born on 3 November 1986 in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, to a Yoruba father and Itsekiri mother. She grew up in Lagos as the second of three children. She attended Starland grade school, Air Force Secondary School in Ibadan for high school, completed A-levels at Oxbridge College, and graduated from the University of Buckingham with a law degree. She later attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Bar.

CAREER

She practiced law for seven years at firms including Webber George Egbe Solicitors and Streamsowers & Kohn. She joined Ndani TV as Head of Production, producing shows such as Skinny Girl in Transit (in which she also starred as Tiwalade), Phases, Rumor Has It, The Juice, and Game On. She produced seasons 2 through 6 of Skinny Girl in Transit and co-produced the film Sugar Rush in 2019.

PERSONAL LIFE

In 2014, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent successful surgery. Her father had passed away from cancer four years prior. She is unmarried.
