Two Birds One Stone

Tunde and Adaora live a rich life, but Adaora is desperate for a child while Tunde refuses. After Adaora announces a pregnancy, Tunde heartlessly forces her to get an abortion, like he did twice before. At the same time, Tunde charms his new neighbor, Morayo, a single mother, and starts to fall for her. When Adaora returns from a trip with a expensive new car, Tunde gets suspicious. He argues with Adaora's friend Fifi, who finally reveals the shocking truth: Adaora was never pregnant. She faked all the pregnancies and abortions to guilt Tunde into wanting a family, scared she was running out of time to be a mother. Tunde feels brutally manipulated. He realizes he felt guilty for abortions that never happened. He goes to Morayo to confess his feelings but then decides to end things with her. He says he must stay with his wife, even though their marriage is now broken by lies. The story ends with everyone trapped and unhappy in the life they built.
