The Lie That Ruin Us

The Lie That Ruin Us follows Martins, a rich man whose friends convince him to test his wife Sandra's loyalty. He lies, saying his business burned down. Sandra supports him, even when he reveals he secretly used their house as loan collateral. Following his friends' plan, Martins fakes a bank foreclosure, forcing them to move to a slum. His friends then try to seduce Sandra with money, but she refuses each advance. However, she doesn't tell Martins about their attempts, creating suspicion. The test turns cruel when a friend tricks Sandra into coming to his hotel room and tries to rape her. During the struggle, Sandra loses the baby she had just discovered she was carrying. Destroyed, Martins confesses the entire scheme. Sandra is heartbroken and leaves him, blaming the loss of their child on his foolish test. She later returns, saying she cannot live without him, and they reconcile. In a final shocking twist, Sandra reveals her own lie: she never actually lost the baby. The pregnancy survived the attack.
