Love Therapy

The movie Love Therapy opens with Layla in deep emotional pain. She cries on the floor as Dami begs her from outside the door. She then enters the bathroom and gets into the bathtub with her clothes on, ready to end everything. Going back in time, we see a difficult dinner where Dami's mother criticizes Layla badly and shows she prefers their friend Kimberly. Later, Layla hears the mother telling Dami that Layla is bad for him and he should leave her for Kimberly. This breaks Layla's heart because Dami stays quiet. Dami saves Layla from the water and takes her to the hospital. The doctor says she must avoid stress for two days. Kimberly takes advantage of this. She hides Dami's gift for Layla and lies to both sides. To Dami she says Layla is still very angry. To Layla she acts as a good friend and suggests staying apart. She also tries to seduce Dami when he is lonely. When Layla finds the hidden gift with Dami's loving note, she realizes the betrayal. She confronts Dami, pointing out his failures with his mother and allowing Kimberly to destroy their bond. In the end, despite Dami begging her, Layla leaves the relationship to find peace for herself. This film called Love Therapy shows the pain of family pressure, fake friendship, and the courage needed to walk away from a broken relationship.
