Her Mother's Decision

In the movie HER MOTHER’S DECISION, the story follows the toxic household of Madam Rose, a manipulative and status-obsessed matriarch. She pressures her daughter Deborah to allow her younger sister Kate to have an affair with Deborah's husband, Robinson, under the pretense of producing heirs and ensuring family survival. Madam Rose constantly demands money and luxury items, including a Mercedes G-Wagon, to fund her entry into the exclusive 'Elite Women's Club' and secure its presidency. The family suffers: Robinson turns to alcohol, overwhelmed by his mother-in-law's interference and the moral decay of his home. Deborah and her sister Anne suffer emotionally from their mother's abuse and the shame of being childless. The tension peaks when Robinson confesses that he is actually sterile, revealing he faked fertility with supplements and bribed doctors to protect everyone's reputation.
