Her Brother's Bestfriend

The movie opens with Elias reading a letter from his late best friend Daniel. Daniel had cancer and died. In the letter he asks Elias to take care of his younger sister Leila. He wants Elias to help her go to a good school in Abuja and follow her dreams. At Daniel's funeral, the landlord comes and demands rent money. He wants to throw them out. Elias pays the 500,000 Naira immediately and tells Leila she will now live with him. Leila moves into Elias's big beautiful house. He cooks for her and enrolls her in university. He drives her to school. Elias is a successful businessman. His friend Matthew teases him and says he likes Leila. Elias says no, she is only his ward. At school, a boy named Kelvin asks Leila to tutor him for money. Elias sees them together at a restaurant and feels jealous. He leaves quickly. One night Leila falls asleep while studying. Elias carries her gently to bed. The next day he brings her breakfast in bed and buys her new phone and clothes. Kelvin invites Leila to a party. There he drinks too much and tries to force her into a room. Leila runs away into the rain without her phone. Elias worries and drives in the heavy rain to find her. He brings her home safely. Later Elias tells Leila the truth. Years ago he got a scholarship and went abroad. He left Daniel behind and feels sorry. Then he confesses he loves her. Leila says she also loves him. She had read the letter and was afraid at first but now she knows his love is real. In the end, Elias and Leila visit Daniel's grave to thank him.
