For Love And For Life

The story in the movie For Love And For Life begins when Clara, who is very sick, sits on the floor in her bedroom. She tries to eat but then she has a bad attack. She holds her chest and cannot breathe. She falls down. Downstairs, Michael's mother and sister are eating. They talk bad about Clara. They say she is a big burden and they do not want to care for her. The sister goes to check. She leaves her there. Michael comes home late from work. As days go by, Clara gets worse. The maid Grace is the only one who cares. She helps Clara to the bed. But when the mother and sister come home, they get very angry. They shout at Clara and tell the maid to take her back up. Then, Clara gets very bad. Michael comes home and sees how his family has been leaving her alone when she is so sick. His mother and sister say Clara is bad for their life and he should not marry her. But Michael says he loves Clara and they are wrong. He picks up Clara and takes her to the hospital fast. At the hospital, Clara gets good care. When she wakes, Michael is there. He feeds her and tells her she has Huntington's disease. But he says they will face it together. He says sorry for how his family treated her and promises to protect her. At the end, in the kitchen of the house, Michael tells Clara he will always be with her. In front of his mother and sister, he goes on one knee and asks her to marry him. She says yes with joy. They hold each other. Their love wins over the sickness and the bad family.
