A Match Made In Lagos

Mia, an engineer, prepares her Lagos home for Duncan, a pilot returning after two years, while her friend Ann helps with the decorations. Soon after, Duncan's plane crashes, and his death leaves Mia shattered and guilty. Months later, at her construction site, touts led by Kosoko demand a fee, and one pushes Mia so hard she faints. Kosoko takes her to the elder Egbon, who tells her to pay for protection. Kosoko, who looks exactly like Duncan, becomes her unofficial escort, and Mia, shaken by the resemblance, treats him generously. Ann warns her, but Mia ignores the warning until Kosoko confesses his love. Mia angrily sends him away, changes her mind, and hires him as her driver. They grow close, watch a movie, and kiss, and Kosoko tells her he loves her. Kosoko confesses he once planned to cheat her out of her money but abandoned the plan, and Mia, horrified, tells him to leave. She admits Duncan looked just like him, and she had treated him kindly out of guilt. When Kosoko asks if she really loves him, she says yes and asks for a week to sort out her feelings. Two weeks later, she arrives at his flat and says she wants him. They promise to be tender and patient despite their different backgrounds, kiss, and she accepts the nickname 'KK Baby.' The film ends as the couple embraces.
