EARLY LIFE
Zenobia Kloppers was born in Windhoek, Namibia, and grew up in the Khomasdal township. She attended Gammams Primary School, Holy Cross Convent, and St Paul's College. From a young age, she aspired to be a singer inspired at 12 by a documentary on Dame Nellie Melba. She began formal classical voice training in 1989 at age 16, studying with prominent South African teachers. She pursued tertiary training in acting and music in South Africa at the University of Cape Town Drama School/Music College and Stellenbosch University Conservatory, earning qualifications in opera/lieder and a BSocSci degree.
CAREER
Zenobia Kloppers has built a versatile career since the early 2000s, debuting professionally in Afrikaans musical drama Antjie Somers (2000). She trained in opera and musical theatre, performing in productions like Die Zauberflöte, Il matrimonio segreto, Hänsel und Gretel, The Impresario, and Ghoema. She played the role of Denise Dzana in Blood & Water appearing in just one episode, and she appeared in films like, Fiela se Kind, Noem My Skollie, Bhai's Café, The Endless River, Lucky Fish, Finding Optel and The Wheel of Time Season 3 (2025).
