Biography

EARLY LIFE

Noxolo Dlamini was born and raised in Chiawelo township, Soweto, Johannesburg. She is the youngest of five children raised by a single mother. She pursued formal training in the arts, spending two years at the National School of the Arts in Johannesburg before getting her BA in Dramatic Arts from the University of Pretoria in 2014.

CAREER

Noxolo Dlamini began her career in stage and theatre, gaining recognition in musicals and productions. She replaced Leleti Khumalo in the title role of Mbongeni Ngema's Sarafina! (2016), played Nala in an international tour of the Lion King, and starred in James Ngcobo's Nina Simone: Four Women at the Market Theatre (2019). Her other films include Silverton Siege (2022), Death of a Whistleblower, iNumber Number: Jozi Gold (2023), Cop & a Half (2025) and G20 (2025).
