EARLY LIFE

Stephen Emeka Odimgbe, popularly known as Flashboy, was born in Lagos, Nigeria, though he hails from Ihiala in Anambra State. He is the son of Jack and Judy Odimgbe and has a brother known as Softkid, an emerging artist. Odimgbe completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos before earning a degree in Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, in 2015. His passion for acting began in childhood through school plays and church drama groups.

CAREER

Stephen Odimgbe, widely recognized as Flashboy—a nickname from his role in the TV series Professor Johnbull (2016–2018). He is a prominent Nollywood actor, producer, investor, and TV personality known for his charming looks, swag, and roles as princes, kings, romantic leads, or comedic characters. He began acting as a child, debuting professionally in Heart of a Father as Emeka, followed by early roles secured through producers like Elder Maya (earning ₦7,000 for a prince role) and Uche Nancy in White Hunters alongside Mercy Johnson, Funke Akindele, and Ini Edo. His breakthrough came with the role of Red in the 2018 comedy Big Mess. He has appeared in over 250 films and series, including Throne of Madness, Unwise King, Dumb Wife, and various romantic/action titles. Awards include Best Actor in a Comedy at the 2021 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA), Best New Actor at the 2019 City People Entertainment Awards, and others.
