Rita C. Onwurah studied Human Nutrition at the University of Ibadan before transitioning into the creative industry. She began her screenwriting career around 2009 and has since built a solid reputation in Nollywood.

Rita C. Onwurah has written and co-written several notable TV shows and movies in Nollywood. Her writing credits include popular titles such as, Meet the In-Laws, Showbiz, Official Business. She is recognized as a skilled screenwriter who contributes to both television series and feature films. In addition to writing, she has worked as a producer on various projects.
