EARLY LIFE

Munachi Gail Teresa Abii Nwankwo, popularly known as Munachi Abii, was born on November 5, 1984, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She hails from Owerri in Imo State, situated in the southeastern region of Nigeria. Munachi completed her secondary education at Federal Government Girls’ College, Abuloma. She later pursued higher education at Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, where she earned a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.

CAREER

In 2007, during her second year at university, Munachi entered the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant. Her poise, intelligence, and beauty earned her the coveted title, and she subsequently represented Nigeria at the Miss World pageant held in Sanya, China, the same year. Her participation on the international stage elevated her profile and opened doors in the entertainment industry. Adopting the stage name “Muna,” Munachi ventured into the music scene as a rapper and hip-hop artist. She collaborated with notable Nigerian artists, contributing to songs and writing lyrics. She addressed the issue, expressing her commitment to learning and promoting her native language.
