Biography
EARLY LIFE
Mohamed Ramadan was born on May 23, 1988, in Qena Governorate, Egypt. His family later moved to Giza Governorate. He is of Egyptian origin. As a child, he joined the Zamalek SC football academy during preparatory school but left to focus on studies. He began acting in school theatre at El Saidya high school in Giza. Art critic Ahmed Abdel Hamid discovered him, wrote about his talent in Al-Gomhuria newspaper, and persuaded his mother to support his enrollment at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. He is the youngest of his siblings.
CAREER
Mohamed Ramadan started his acting career with small roles in television series such as The Cinderella and made his film debut around 2006 with Awlad Al-Shareware (Children of the Streets). His breakthrough came in 2009 with the acclaimed film Scheherazade, Tell Me a Story (Ehky ya Scheherazade), He rose to major stardom through collaborations with producers Mohamed and Ahmed El Sobky in numerous commercial hits, including Abdo Mota (2012), The Treasure (El-Kenz, 2017 and 2019), el-Diesel (2018), and others. Notable TV series include Ibn Halal (2014), Al Ostoura (2016), Nesr el-Saeed (2018), Mousa (2021), and Gaafar El Omda (2023). In music, Ramadan has released numerous hit songs and collaborations that have garnered hundreds of millions of views and streams, including "Mafia" (2019), "Number One", "Ya Habibi" with Gims, "Ensay" with Saad Lamjarred, and international tracks like "Arabi" with Future and Massari.
Mohamed Ramadan has been married twice. His first marriage (2008–2012) produced one daughter, Hanin. He later married Nesreen El Sayed Abd El Fattah, with whom he has two children: son Ali and daughter Kenz.
