Biography
EARLY LIFE
Mmabatho Montsho was born in Soweto, Johannesburg. She attended Greenside High School and later studied Audiovisual Multimedia at the University of South Africa. After high school, she launched her fashion label 'Black Olive Designs', which gained public recognition at the South African fashion week in 2004.
CAREER
Montsho began her acting career in 2006 with a guest appearance on SABC 1's A Place Called Home. She has starred in various movies and television series including Jacob's Cross, Happiness Is a Four-letter Word, Artcha, Mr Bones 2: Back from the future, Plein Street, Tempy Pushas, Nothing for Mahala, Thula's Vine, Generations, and Rhythm City. She is also a producer and director, with works such as Frontières, The Award Ceremony, Joko Ya Hao, Nothing for Mahala, and A Hotel Called Memory.
