Jideofor Kenechukwu Achufusi is a Nigerian actor and model, known professionally as Swanky JKA. He is best known for his portrayal of Nnamdi Okeke in Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, as well as Chidi in Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards. He won the Trailblazer award at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA). Originally a model, Achufusi began his acting career by playing supporting roles in Nollywood films Poka Messiah, Black Rose, Pretty Little Thing, Ofu Obi and A Lonely Lane. He made his breakthrough in 2019 by playing the charismatic Nnamdi Okeke in the movie Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, which earned him a Best Actor nomination and a Trailblazer award, both at the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards in 2020.
EARLY LIFE
Jide Kene Achufusi was born on 17 October 1991 in Enugu State, Nigeria, though originally from Anambra State. His qualities were honed through his diverse upbringing. He began his education in Ebonyi, later completing it in Enugu, where he earned a degree in Geography and Meteorology from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). In 2001, he spent part of his adolescence in Anambra, nurturing his acting aspirations. In 2010, he left Anambra’s capital, which lacked industry opportunities, for Enugu to pursue a career in Nollywood. His exposure to various Eastern Nigerian states deepened his mastery of the Igbo language, including its regional dialects, and enriched his understanding of local traditions.

Since then, he has starred in several acclaimed Nollywood films, including Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards (2020), Dwindle, Blood Vessel (2023), A Tribe Called Judah (2023), and Japa!. He is also a budding filmmaker and made his screenwriting debut with 'City of Dreams'.
PERSONAL LIFE
Jide Kene Achufusi enjoys watching TV, reading books, playing video games, and talking to family and friends. His role models include Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Hanks Anuku, Muna Obiekwe, and Chidi Mokeme. He acknowledges that fame has had a negative impact on some of his friendships but views it as a worthy sacrifice for creating impact. He is not married and has not publicized any girlfriend or spouse. By 2031, he plans to build a large international film studio in Enugu, similar to Tyler Perry's, to attract investors and make distinctive films that inspire young people and birth international actors in Nigeria.
