EARLY LIFE
Desmond Larry Bryce, known professionally as Desmond Bryce, was born on June 3, 1995, in Afaha, Ikot Afaha village, Eket Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He is of Ibibio ethnicity from the South-South region and was raised in a Christian family as the eldest of three sons. His father, Mr. Larry Bryce, is an architect from Afaha, while his mother, Mrs. Mairo Bryce (born December 18, 1970), is an entrepreneur from Abak with a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Calabar. His younger brothers are Paul Bryce (known as Pappybryce, an upcoming singer) and David Bryce.
CAREER
Desmond Bryce began his acting career in 2018 and is recognized as a Nigerian actor, voice-over artist, and digital creator. He gained prominence for his lead role as Omera in the 2024 Africa Magic original series Omera. Notable works include Collide (2023), After School Hours (2023), Man and Masquerades (2023), Noise of Silence (2023), Right Words (2021), Focus (2021), Ifeloju (2021), Deep Cover (2020), Karma Is a Gangster (2020), The Crazy Wife (2020), The Johnsons (2019), and Just One Night (2019). He has collaborated with actors such as Chinedu Ikedieze, Kunle Remi, Charles Inojie, Abayomi Alvin, Lota Chukwu, Jimmy Odukoya, Roxy Antak, Emem Ufot, MC Mbakara, Chuks Joseph, Nini Mbonu, Olumide Oworu, Jeiel Damina, Baaj Adebule, and Ikponmwosa Gold.
