Biography
CAREER
Darimisire Afolayan is a young Nigerian actor, model, and the son of acclaimed Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan. Born on August 4, 2010, he belongs to the prominent Afolayan entertainment dynasty. He gained recognition as a child actor by performing in prominent Nollywood films directed by his father. He appeared in Roti (2017) and Mokalik (2019). Outside of acting, he modeled for the debut Ire Clothing fashion showcase at African Fashion Week. Notably, prior to shooting Mokalik, his father famously sent him to intern at an actual automobile repair shop to ground his perspective on life and prepare him for practical skills.
PERSONAL LIFE
Darimisire is the grandson of the late legendary theater and film director Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love. He has three siblings who are also active in creative spaces and public life: Eyiyemi, Diekoloreoluwa, and Darasimi.
