My Village Call

"My Village Call" follows Obinna, a poor car washer in the city, in a bad relationship with greedy Cynthia. He wakes from a nightmare of a black-painted madman with a crown of thorns. When he tells Cynthia, she mocks him for being broke and says he should sell body parts for cash. At work, the madman appears for real, points at him, and says "Home, back." Scared, Obinna tells friend IK, who says it's a sign to return to his village to solve his stuck life. Cynthia keeps humiliating him, like throwing dirty water on him at work for not giving money. Obinna begs for her love, but during a fight, lightning hits, and the madman returns with two white-dressed spirit women. They reveal Obinna is the chosen mouthpiece of the gods, meant to be Chief Priest from his family line. In the village, elders are selfish and rule badly. A fake priest, KC Banks, scams people with high fees and POS machines. Obinna accepts his role but makes it modern as a Gen-Z Dibia. He comes back powerful and rich, shocking the elders who ignored him as a city boy. The gods chose him over them. He scolds the elders for greed, and spirits attack KC Banks, closing his fake shrine in fear. Obinna's life changes big time. He has a fancy house, nice car, money, and new women. Cynthia hears he's now a billionaire and goes to beg forgiveness for her mean ways. She apologizes and wants him back, but Obinna says no, the gods don't want her, and sends her away. Free at last, he lives happily with his true calling. This movie shows how fate can turn things around, mixing culture, spirits, and modern life.
