EARLY LIFE
Carol King, whose full name is Caroline Eferamor King, was born on 24 July 1963 in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria (then part of Western Nigeria), to Edo-born parents. She completed her primary education at St. Soweto Primary School in Lagos and her secondary education at Awori Anglican Comprehensive High School in Lagos. King later obtained a Diploma in Insurance from Ahmadu Bello University and a bachelor's degree in Christian Religious Studies from Lagos State University
PERSONAL LIFE
Carol King is married to Captain Kolawole King. She has three children: a son, Ikemefuna Nsolo (from a previous marriage to Nsolo), another son, Abdulqudus "Quddus" King, and a daughter, Oluwasoladegbin "Sola" King. She resides in Lagos State. In late 2025, King publicly opened up about surviving an abusive marriage, discussing the pain and challenges in interviews and social media posts.

Carol King is a Nigerian actress and radio presenter, active since 1999. Her career began after auditioning for the radio drama I Need To Know, and she rose to prominence portraying Jumoke in the TV series Everyday People. Often cast in motherly roles, she has appeared in numerous soap operas, films, and stage productions. Notable film credits include The Gods Are Still Not To Blame, Dazzling Mirage (2014, as Lola), Journey To Self (2012, as Stella), North East (2016, as Ifeoma Okafor), Beyond Blood (2016), The Tribunal (2017), A Naija Christmas (2021, as Deaconess Fakorede), Kofa (2022, as Mrs. Brillo), and Ada Omo Daddy (2023, as Mrs. Ekpeyong).
