Biography
CAREER
Abiola Sobo is an accomplished filmmaker, director, and creative entrepreneur. He co-founded Suss Productions in 2014, where he serves as Creative Director, working across film and television projects. Sobo is known for directing In Iredu (2014), Inspector K (2017), Ayinde (2022), Down the Aisle (2025), and the Showmax original series Princess on a Hill (2024-2025), which he co-created and executive produced. He also worked as a creative Director/Director at various terrestrial and Satellite TV companies including HiTV, TVC-E, and Bloomberg Africa.
EARLY LIFE
Abiola Sobo studied Computer Engineering Technology (BSc) at Babcock University and later pursued filmmaking at NYFA Abu Dhabi in 2009.
