Once Upon A Village 3

In Once Upon A Village 3, Chairman Jeffrey brings three women in need to live in his house and work as housekeepers until their own home is repaired. Enoh and her grandmother are among them. The women are grateful for the chance, but they are not sure how they will be received. Jeffrey's adult son greets the arrangement with hostility, and his wife Hilda is upset that she was not consulted. Hilda makes the housekeepers wake before dawn and perform endless tasks, and she humiliates them for their lowly status, especially Enoh. Hilda also confronts Lillian, the wife of Sammy, about a child Lillian supposedly had with Chairman Jeffrey twenty years earlier. Lillian deflects the accusation, but Sammy begins to suspect that his wife still loves Jeffrey. His suspicion grows after his daughter reports seeing Lillian alone with the chairman. Sammy confronts Lillian about the birth control pills and her refusal to have his child. Lillian reveals a painful piece of her past. Early in their marriage she became pregnant, and Sammy beat her in a violent outburst that caused her to lose the child. She tells him she will never bear him a child, pulls a knife, and vows to defend herself if he ever harms her again. Hilda learns from Sammy the details of Lillian's past pregnancy and the forced marriage that tied Lillian to Sammy. The exposure of these long-buried secrets leaves the household in turmoil. Lillian stands her ground against Sammy, and Enoh and her grandmother continue to put up with Hilda's cruelty in the chairman's home. In the broader village, a young woman is forced into a van in what looks like an abduction.
