Let Me Know You

The movie "Let Me Know You" starts with Miwa, a young doctor, jogging. She sees a handsome man named Tolu and likes him. She tells her friend Chetachi about her crush. Tolu receives expensive gifts from a secret admirer. Later his car breaks down and Miwa gives him a ride. They like each other. Tolu visits Miwa’s clinic with stomach pain. He notices her handwriting matches the gift note and confronts her. She admits she is the secret admirer. They start dating and enjoy romantic times together. One day Miwa sees Tolu’s mother’s picture online and is shocked. In the past, Tolu’s mother and another woman stole her young brother Bayo’s kidney. Bayo died and their mother also died from heartbreak. Because of this, Miwa becomes cold and kicks Tolu out. Later Tolu is found stabbed and bleeding at Miwa’s house. He is rushed to her clinic. Miwa is the only doctor who can operate. She hesitates because she wants revenge, but she remembers her duty and saves his life. After the surgery, Miwa cries and tells her friend the truth. Tolu also learns what his mother did. He feels guilty and goes to Miwa. He kneels, apologizes with tears and says he still loves her. Miwa is touched. She accepts his apology and they embrace, choosing to heal together.
