Hearts On Fire

In Nigeria, photographer Jimmy lives with his wife Nora, who suffers from an undiagnosed health condition. His mother Eucharia arrives and immediately targets Nora, accusing her of laziness and infertility, with help from Jimmy’s ex-girlfriend Vera. Believing his mother, Jimmy becomes distant and shares Nora’s private health details with Vera. As tension mounts, Nora confronts the family and reveals Eucharia’s lies. Jimmy finally sees the truth, throws his mother and Vera out, and tries to reconcile with Nora. She reveals she is pregnant and wants to keep the baby. Jimmy struggles with guilt over betraying her trust, but Nora threatens legal action if he continues his toxic behavior. They decide to move forward together. The film ends with Jimmy making a romantic gesture, formally proposing to be with Nora in a fresh start, leaving his past behind. 'HEARTS ON FIRE' explores family manipulation, infidelity, and the fight for a second chance.
