Chasing Grace

Richard and Vera love each other very much but they are poor and live in a small compound in the movie Chasing Grace. Neighbors disrespect them. The shop owner humiliates Vera for owing money and a neighbor calls her barren and throws dirty water on her clothes. Richard defends her. Richard is a software developer. He gets a small offer for his project and feels bad. Vera tells him not to settle. He gets an invitation to pitch to Microsoft in Abuja but cannot pay for the flight. Vera gives him all her savings of 190000 naira. He succeeds and tells the neighbors about the multi million contract. Six months later they are rich with big house and cars. Vera pays the old debt and gives extra money to the shop owner. Vera invites old friends Stella and Jemima. She acts proud and tells them not to suffer with a broke man. Stella gets angry and resentful. Richard gets busy with work and comes home late. He stops talking much and says no conversation at home. Vera feels alone and checks his phone. She sees a message from Maureen to meet at a hotel and thinks he has an affair. She calls Maureen to warn her. Vera also confronts Stella about a text she sent to Richard and kicks her out. When Richard returns Vera cries and confesses everything on her knees. Richard explains Maureen is the investor for the big deal and he wanted to surprise her. He fixed the issue and signed the contract. He gives her keys to a big supermarket as a gift. They hug. Their love is stronger.
