He was close friends with the late comedian Ada Jesus. Tragically, Odira Nwobu died on November 24, 2025, at age 43, while in South Africa (Benoni, near Johannesburg) promoting a Nigerian real estate company with other influencers. He was found gasping for breath in his hotel room; paramedics could not revive him. Reports mentioned prior complaints of chest pain and high blood pressure after a night out, with unverified accounts suggesting he had been battling hypertension. The official cause remains unknown pending a coroner's report. His death prompted widespread tributes from the Nigerian entertainment industry.
