Biography

EARLY LIFE

Matt Dadzie was born in Lagos, Nigeria to George and Victoria Dadzie. He spent his early years in Lagos where he completed his primary and secondary education. He later gained admission to the University of Ibadan to study Theater arts.

CAREER

He worked with NTA Jos and is famous for writing and directing TV series in the early 80s and 90s in Nigeria, including 'Cock Crow at Dawn' (1985), 'Behind the Clouds' (1989), 'Lynx' (1989), 'Riddles and Hopes' (1991), and 'Supple Blues' (1990).

PERSONAL LIFE

He lived with his wife, Siya Amanda Erekosima, and their children in Jos, Nigeria, until his death from colon cancer in 2005.
